Bipolar I Disorder

Bipolar I disorder is a mental health condition characterized by depressive and manic episodes. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with bipolar I disorder, this clinical research study may be of interest. You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are between 18 and 76 years of age

  • Have a primary diagnosis of bipolar I disorder

  • Have experienced a manic episode lasting no longer than 12 weeks

  • Are able and willing to discontinue certain psychotropic medications under the guidance of the study doctor, if required
