Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

General Anxiety Disorder is a common mental health condition characterized by excessive and persistent worry, tension, and nervousness that is difficult to control. If you or someone you know is struggling with generalized anxiety disorder, this study may be of interest. You may eligible to participate if you:

  • Are an adult between the ages 18-65 years old with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).

  • Currently taking paroxetine, escitalopram, duloxetine, or venlafaxine ER for at least 8 weeks.

  • Are not currently experiencing a depressive episode.

  • Have no lifetime history of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I or II disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, or developmental/cognitive disorders
