Are ages 5 to 17
Have a confirmed diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Are experiencing irritability due to ASD

Children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) may experience multiple symptoms related to their condition, including irritability. Because there are very few approved options for the treatment of irritability caused by ASD, there is a need to research investigational drugs for ASD. This study is evaluating a medication as a treatment of autism in children and adolescents.
